This course provides a series of lessons to guide you through a control experiment on a MinION using the Ligation Sequencing Kit. Before you start sequencing your own DNA samples, we recommend that you follow this course and run a control experiment using a high-quality Lambda DNA sample supplied in the kit. The control experiment allows you to complete an end-to-end nanopore sequencing workflow and become familiar with the planning, preparation, sequencing and analysis stages of the process. The Ligation Sequencing Kit is recommended for users want to optimise their sequencing experiment for throughput, require control over read length and would like to utilise upstream processes such as size selection or whole genome amplification.
