This course provides a series of lessons to guide you through a control experiment on a MinION using the Rapid Sequencing Kit. Before you start sequencing your own DNA samples, we recommend that you follow this course and run a control experiment using a high-quality Lambda DNA sample supplied in the kit. The control experiment allows you to complete an end-to-end nanopore sequencing workflow and become familiar with the planning, preparation, sequencing and analysis stages of the process. The Rapid Sequencing Kit is recommended for users who require a short preparation time and have limited access to laboratory equipment.
