Sequencing run

Approx 40 Mins

Goal: to prime your flow cell with buffer, load your RNA library into the flow cell, and start a sequencing experiment in MinKNOW.

This step will take you through flow cell priming, sample loading and starting your sequencing experiment.

What you will need

  • 1.5 ml Eppendorf DNA LoBind tubes
  • Control RNA library
  • Flow Cell Priming Kit (EXP-FLP002)
  • Flow cell, MinION Mk1B, USB3 cable and compatible computer - set up in previous sections
  • Microfuge
  • Nuclease-free water
  • P100 pipette and tips
  • P100 pipette and tips
  • P1000 pipette and tips
  • P1000 pipette and tips
  • P20 pipette and tips
  • RNA Running Buffer (RRB)
